Featuring the slogan “Where the Revolutionary War Was Won,” the design reflects the growing recognition of South Carolina’s decisive contributions to American independence.
At the heart of the plate’s imagery is the historic Moultrie Flag, symbolizing the 1776 defense of Charleston at the Battle of Fort Sullivan, where Patriot forces achieved a crucial early victory.
